Koorong Books

Koorong is the retail heaven for Christians. It covers every Christians needs, it has a huge book collection, a Bible section, a music section, dvd’s, t-​shirts and other novel items like stickers, keychains etc. And of course there’s a café. It’s a little out of the way to drive to, so it’s always a bit of a trip to take with friends and restock your supplies of Christian literature and music mainly, and then have a coffee and chat over your new buys.
It’s hard not to get carried away here as you find authors you appreciate have come out with new books, and you feel you need a new Bible as yours seems so old next to the shiny new ones, and there is a new Planetshakers worship CD out that you need to buy. But try and stick to your budget, remember Jesus only had sandals and a cloak! But really, it’s a lot of fun coming here, especially if it’s only every so often it makes it more of a treat, and coming with friends is good to talk about authors and musicians and recommend various things to one another.
