It’s fish… And chips. That’s it. There’s nothing exotic here, just the basics that you need from a fish and chippie. Décor gets a zero, but the regulars who come here don’t want fancy because it wouldn’t match our beach hair, boardies and thongs (thongs only worn if you’re dressing up).
We all just want the perfectly cooked, battery, salty, vinegary goodness wrapped in too much paper to take down to Mullaloo beach and watch the sunset.
It’s the perfect example of sticking to your knitting. Just like us, Mullaloo Fish Bar won’t (and doesn’t need to) change.

My whole entire life I have been frequenting this fish bar. Even in high school we would stop buy and purchase a huge amount of chips for 2⁄3 bucks and take it to the beach and eat.
You get consistent quality for a good price every time. If you go up towards the city you can get some fancy fish and chips with extras you won’t see on this menu.
But if you want the standard perfect battered fish with a huge amount of chips for what you pay this is the place!
Whenever I travel down north (which is often to visit my family) we tend to get this takeaway the most as we will never be disappointed and it does not break the bank.

Been going to this place for years now and it’s always been great. Busier on Friday nights and weekends but still keeps up and you can get your order pretty quickly. As for the food, it’s great. All the favourites and more and there’s nothing on the menu that isn’t good. 5 stars for every aspect of the Mullaloo Fish Bar.

Honest fish and chips, you just can’t beat it. I obviously won’t pretend that I eat here very regularly as there are so many fish and chips spots in Perth and if I was to eat in them all I may have heart problems.
This is one of the few places that are very good value when you compare the quality of the fish and the price. Even if you are just after a warm cup of chips after a day on the beach, this is a better option than your nearest lunch bar.

Located in the heart of Mullaloo at the Mullaloo Plaza, Mullaloo Fish Bar has been a takeaway favourite to locals for years.
There’s no wonder why because their food is good and the prices are great. The chips are actually the best «Fish and Chip» Chips I have ever had. Cooked to perfection with clean oil, so they’re not soggy and brown. The fish is pretty average, not that fresh; they have a good selection of other food though such as NZ style Hot Dogs and Pineapple Fritters etc.
The prices are very cheap, especially compared to other Fish and Chip places. They do good value combos such as Fish and Chips for 1, 2, 3 or 4. Average price per person is $ 7-​$ 10.
The service is good too, the staff are always very friendly and if you are a regular they will remember your order.
Hot Chip fans — This place is a must!
