I usually stop in late at night for a petrol stop. Today was the first time I stopped in during normal business hours. Was blown away by happy staff and great customer service.

2am, Sunday morning. You don’t want to rock in to the McDonalds but you do have a sudden and irrepressible hunger for some kind of fatty, ill advised post-​midnight snack. BP Melville are happy to provide. You score yourself a pie and a donut. You are happy. All is right in the world. You drive home and realise you should have put petrol in your car (though it’s usually a bit cheaper at the United servo up the hill), bought milk and probably put the car through the car wash — if you do it during the day on a sunday you’ll have to wait in line. Oh well. Worse things have happened. At least now you have a donut.
