The Common

A-​OK.
If you’re on Nathan campus and forgot your lunch box, your best bet is to head to the common for an affordable feed. There’s trwo sides to The Common, one side is the lolly shop which sells sweets, burgers, curries, drinks, sushi and everything else in between and the other side is an inside seating area with an asian take-​away counter which serves Phở, rice paper rolls, ramen and dumplings. It gets pretty busy in both the inside and outside seating area during peak periods but it’s a good place to hang out with friends.

A perfect place to relax, play a game of pool or having something to eat when you are on campus at Griffith University. The common is mostly a place where students hang out between classes or when writing assignments. There is loads of room to sit around the grass outside or in the hall inside. The Common has 3 pool tables and various arcade games. There is also a small take away that do cheap 2 dollar burgers, a range of delicious curries and a range of toasted sandwiches. If you are not in the mood for any of these you can create your own sandwich or salad from the fresh ingredients provided in the salad bar. They also have a range of sushi that you can choose from. If you have a sweet tooth don’t fear because there is a candy store in the common too works on the pick and mix method. The Common is only open during the Uni semester however and is open from 7 am to 4 30 pm weekdays.
