Dolphin Fish Shop & Take Away

Been here a few times now… The food is great, i usually have a fish pack one of my favorites, and as always been very tasty.
The shop is quite small and can get crowded, we phone up usually and order first so ready as soon as we arrive.
Service is friendly.

I have now been here just twice, but the place is rapidly becoming a favourite. The chips are just so good!
The schnitzel pack is excellent value as is the Fishermans Basket meals. Infact the whole menu is very well priced and competes with any!
The shop is small and can get crowded when busy… surely thats a good sign though! On my 2^nd order i rang through my order first and was ready as soon as i got there. The service is friendly and i am looking forward to my next visit!
I cant comment on the previous review about being hot on a hot day… as its been winter since my visits began! Will see in the near future!

The Dolphin Fish Shop is just around the corner from my house within walking distance which allows me to attempt to work off some of the calories I will be about to eat on the walk home! In typical fish and chip shop style, the shop is not fantastic. It is very small and can be cramped when busy and when I went in with a family member on a hot Adelaide summer day, the temperature was stifling and there was only one tiny fan in the corner to help cool the customers. Luckily as a takeaway place it was ok, but for a restaurant establishment this would be way out of order.
So the best thing about the Dolphin Fish Shop is the prices, which are quite a bit cheaper than heaps of other places I’ve been too. A piece of basic fish will only set you back about $ 3.50 and a burger with the lot around $ 7.00. For a family of three we spent around $ 16.00 which is a really good takeaway deal compared to the more expensive options. The staff are friendly, and even when I was there on a VERY busy Sunday night, there was 4 or 5 staff on which made for a quick serving time and a reasonably short waiting time for the amount of customers.
