Majo’s smelt delicious as we walked in the door! We kickstarted our meal with a large sav blanc to wash down delicious beef & mushroom ragu, & chicken with pumpkin pesto pasta — we could have easily shared one meal so I scored the leftovers to take home! A group of us went to Majo’s for dinner, and found it to be a nice casual place to dine at, with a very warm vibe. Food wise, while they had a very comprehensive menu filled with pizza’s, breads, pasta’s and other yummy sounding things, I unfortunately was a little underwhelmed by the food. It’s not that it was bad, it just wasn’t… great. I had the pesto chicken and pumpkin fettuccine, and found very little pesto, almost no chicken, and quite a bit of pumpkin. The bread entrée’s fortunately were much better, and very good for sharing. I also found the service to be a bit inconsistent, with some staff members very attentive, patient and knowledgeable, and others either not quite so.

I was happily impressed by the quality of the food. Not very impressed with service. I have been there several times for take away lunch. Ordering an Italian steak panini with chips and they are always delicious. A few days ago I ordered dinner and it was amazing. I ordered gnocci with chicken, avacado and cream and it was amazing. Flavor had levels and all ingredients complimented each other. We also ordered a basic garlic bread which was also delicious Unfortunately some of the girls who work there seem to dislike their job or people or both. Never a smile for anyone. But hey, food is great so just ignore them!

Just a quick review, dinner was nice. The food was a good selection of simple, no fuss italian with great, attentive service. The vibe was warm and light hearted, nice spot for a fun casual meal. Meals were well priced we found the entrée sizes to be quite large, full marks for value.
