I went here for a friend’s birthday party for a bit barefoot bowls and we all had a good time. The Boo, as it’s affectionately known, is a nice club where you can go and have a drink and play some lawn bowls. They have live music as well but I felt the venue was a tad small for the amount of volume that the speakers were set to. There’s about 6 lanes(not sure if they’re called lanes) that you can use to bowl. A nice woman with amazing hair gave us a quick run down on the game and tips on how to hold the puck. If you go there and get her to help you out don’t bring up Crackerjack; she’s told us that joke has been overdone. There was a bit of rain when we started playing so it interruped our game but that was ok. Because it was a birthday party I ate a chicken maryland but I’m not sure whether that’s a standard on their menu. If it is then it’s not a bad choice. The chicken was well done and the sauce was really tasty. A little tip if you’re driving there: the entrance is not completely visible from the road so you might miss it. If you do then just enter the first street on your left and circle back. The entrance to Boo’s parking is just after their sign. You’ll see it the second time.
