I know, I know, it’s one of those weird Asian names that don’t quite make sense but stick with it, it’s like the United Nations of sugar all up in this business. Their thing is specialty desserts from all over the world, or at least some of the world, like those Taiwanese shaved ice things, and Belgian waffles, and I don’t really know what country claims froyo but who cares because it’s clearly the best. I’m apoplectic for slurpees, or any kind of slurpee derivative, so I was always gonna go with the shaved ice, or Snow Shave as they call it here, and it’s surprising in that it is actually, literally, shaved ice, it comes off the block in those little curly waves kind of like a Streets Vienna, also one of the best desserts ever made. It’s delightfully weird, and kind of dry in an ice creamy kind of way, if that makes sense. Look, I’m doing a terrible job of explaining this, go try it and see for yourself.

Excellent service and the waffles are out of this world. And the hot chocolate… Wow

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaait, they cook waffles on site twice a day. Fresh like. And the guy behind the counter gives you a wonderful wonderful tour and explains everything. He also makes cream fresh on site every day too. So it’s fluffy, and white and goes really really well with the waffles. He has traditional waffles and some Belgium ones. And then he showed us the covered hole in the counter. It had melted Belgium chocolate in it. Like, swirly, and creamy and melted. I might have had a Homer moment and drooled. You see, we went in for a quick coffee while we waited for our 3rd on our girl date. We ended up having some Belgium waffles, with fruit, cream and chocolate. Oh the chocolate. Plus coffee. It was divine. Totally absolutely divine. I’m sure there were a choir of angels singing happily. Because my taste buds definiately were!
