The main food was ok but the starter was awful. It was frozen and I am guessing it was from the supermarket(not hand made for sure).

There’s really nothing to complain here. But this place questions my ability to eat! Was the portion huge or what? Share with your friends if u can, or have the left over to go. Or may be I’m not used to Australian portion? Delicious and authentic with really good environment. Go for it!

Delicious Middle Eastern Cuisine. Ive eaten here few times and each time have left so full I’ve considered unbuttoning the top button of my trousers. Great friendly service — just the right amount of casual without losing the sharpness service staff should provide. I recommend you book a table if you have the time to do so and if you’re not familiar with the area, give yourself a little extra time to find parking, it can be a challenge of an evening but always worth it.

We ordered the Al Aseel mix plate(chicken, lamb and kofta skewers with falafel, hummus, baba ghanouj, garlic dip and tabouli) between two people and this would have been more than enough food for both of us but we just had to be greedy and order two more dishes: the fatteh(chickpeas and crispy bread topped with yoghurt, melted butter and roasted pine nuts) and the fried kibbeh(minced lamb and crushed buckwheat croquettes). To top it all off we also ordered dessert: roast pistachio ice cream with candied pistachios and honeyed figs. Everything was delicious but we felt like dying afterwards because we were so full. My advice to those uninitiated with this restaurant would be to ignore the complimentary breads they give you at the start of the meal and just wait until the good stuff comes out. Otherwise, you may need to have your stomach pumped after the meal.(RPA is conveniently located just up the road.)
