At Church Street Medical Practice, our most important goal is to provide high quality medical care to everyone that steps inside our doors. We want you to know that maintaining your health and well-​being means that we treat you as a person, and not as just a patient.

To ensure these high standards, we ask that you nominate your primary GP, as well as a secondary GP should your regular doctor be unavailable. In this way, we’re able to ensure that your health needs are addressed by those most familiar with you, rather than offering potentially fragmented care that doesn’t meet our standards and your needs.

We also believe that training the next generation of GPs is vital in ensuring that the quality you currently experience is available for those in the future. To that end, we have a range of doctors practicing at CSMP, from GPs in training to those with over 30 years’ experience.

At CSMP we respect and value your individual needs, and hope that you will extend that same respect to us, as well.

History

Established in 1983.

Dr David Lim began as a single practitioner at Church Street Medical Practice, taking the mantle that had previously been that of Dr Alfred Leopold. Since those humble beginnings, Church Street Medical Practice has grown to over 12 full-​time doctors, as well as a number of part staff and allied health professionals. The amalgamation of two reputable and long serving practices, Edgeware Family Practice and Church Street Medical Practice, has greatly increased our capacity to offer high quality medical care to our community — capacity we hope will continue to improve both in terms of people we treat and quality of care they receive.
