I think I am one of the rare few who doesn’t consider campos coffee to be anything special but I was in need of caffeine so in I went. The exterior is pretty corner café typical, as is the interior. We just had take away coffees and a chocolate, raspberry & coconut brownie. Coffee ticked the caffeine box but wasn’t anything to get too excited about, the brownie was good but not at all typical in brownie texture. It was more like a really dense and decadent fudge slice. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back but if I was in the area, I’d give it another shot.

Lovely staff, tasty food and a good and perhaps a slightly unconventional menu(a good thing — not the normal bacon and eggs faire). We are regulars. The DVD /library is great too.

So far I have only had the coffee from the Wolf and Honeybee(many many times), and every time its been fabulous. Each time I’ve picked up or sat in for my coffee the service has been fine to wonderful. The food I’ve seen on the tables nearby has always looked great — I look forward to having the time to eat.

The Wolf & Honeybee is located down the street from my house, so I’ve been a customer of theirs several times. They make have fantastic coffee and the food can be pretty good. The staff lack general manners and customer service skills; don’t expect to be greeted with good morning, how are you or hope to hear have a great day. They don’t seem to care about repeat business.

Sometimes there is a silver lining when you get out of the car in a area you dont know just so you can take your screaming child for a walk to so you dont go mental. My reward one day was stumbling across Wolf and the Honeybee. What a great find and so to do the owners justice given I started the review in reference to my screaming kid. I would like to say this is some of the best coffee, food and art I have seen in awhile. Unbeknown to myself this café has only been opened for a few weeks and is a sister or cousin to The Bunker in Darlinghurst. There is art from local artists that adorn the wall and they serve up rustic, home-style food matched with the best coffee. Why does the Wolf and the Honeybee have to be in Newtown we need one like it on the North Shore. Congfratulations Marrickville/Newtown yet another little addition to the neighbourhood
