Tony Marcon Park

Heaps smaller than Des Penmans reserve, Tony Marcon Park is plan B for me when in the area.
It is a fairly standard, run of the mill park that is popular with morning people and their fit pets. As Tonys’ is situated on a corner, the majority of the people who tread upon its’ grass appear to be more– short cutting pedestrians than anything else and while there are a few pieces of equipment to keep the young ones occupied– it is fairly un-​eventful.
Any park is a good park when you can pull up a patch of grass and get horizontal.
While it may not be «activity central» of the parks in the area, it is pleasant for a quiet retreat or moment to reflect and appreciate open space.
