Relatively large range, but prices are fairly high for woolies… It’s usually quite busy so aim for a late shop and you’ll miss the crowds. I’ve noticed for some reason other shoppers here are usually pretty rude and rush from one area to another, right through you if you happen to be in their path as they sprint with their eyes closed. Staff are always helpful and very friendly, just a shame that those prices. I can’t see why they expect you to pay more at one Woolworths compared to another Woolworths.

Ah, Goliath. These guys own everything now. Supermarkets, bottle shops, petrol stations, and quite possibly orphanages. I don’t know why, but it seems like the kind of Machiavellian thing an oligopolist would do. I still shop here of course. I mean you have to for some things. My fruit & veg I get from a n awesome Chinese grocer, or the local fruit shop. But if I need washing powder? Or a toothbrush? Or Tim Tams at 50% off? Yep. The big W. Well not THE Big W, that’s different, but you know what I mean. Plus its 2mins away from my house and my mum shops here.

My favourite woolies store. Very good range of products, and open till late . I have never had to wait any longer than a couple of minutes at the register, if there is more than 2 people waiting in line they open another register. This store is well maintained and well staffed.

While Northbridge Woolworths isn’t the biggest store they have, they stock most items and the store is relaxing as it can possibly be. Self check out and check out chick counters are both available and the wait to pay for your items isn’t long. This Woolworths is very well managed– so much so that my family and I prefer to travel 10 – 15 minutes to this supermarket, rather than visit our local supermarket(Coles) which is a 2 minute drive from our place. We also have an Everyday Rewards card which enables us to rack up frequent flyer points(which can be redeemed for flights, gift cards, electronics and so on). There is plenty of parking and the shopping experience is as stress free as possible!

Ok so there are some good Woolworths and some bad Woolworths but Northbridge Woolies is a goodie. I like variety because I like to shop usually on price and this Woolworths has lots of that. The place is huge, clearly laid out and always lots of specials. What I like best about Woolworths is their ‘Everyday Rewards’ program. Basically it is a really easy way to get Qantas Frequent Flyer miles. If you spend over $ 30 then you get a certain amount of points. I usually do a weekly shop of say $ 200 and I get about 150 points, which is pretty good when it all adds up! This program is free to join which makes it a free way to join this Qantas Frequent Flyer program(which normally has a $ 80 sign up fee).
