Statkus Architecture is a Northcote based architectural design studio offering architects services and considered solutions throughout Victoria for new homes, extensions, renovations, multi residential developments, holiday homes, restaurant, bar & shop fitouts along with government and community projects.

As neither a start up studio, nor a long established large multi generational firm, to date we have produced a modest portfolio of what we like to think of as quality work and are currently working on a range of diverse and interesting projects from a cubby to multi storey holiday units.

Meet the Business Owner

Ben S.

Business Owner

Ben Statkus is a registered architect and the director of Statkus Architecture and has has been in private practice since 2004.

He has held sessional lecturing and tutoring positions at RMIT University’s School of Architecture courses including design, communications and technology.

He completed a Bachelor of at RMIT University with 1^st Class Honours.

His work has been included in the 2010 Venice Architecture Biennale, has exhibited at the Melbourne Museum, within State Ministerial offices and has been short-​listed for a Premier’s design Award.

His previous practical experience includes three and a half years as a director of Studio Too Pty Ltd Architects and over seven years full time experience working in the established architectural offices of Jackson Clements Burrows Pty Ltd and Wilkinson Fincher Pty Ltd (now James Wilkinson Architects).

His project experience includes residential, retail, commercial and institutional, large and small.
