Welcome to an ever evolving land of local artists uniting in one very well laid out space! Firstly — you could accidentally walk past the entrance — if you missed the tables and chairs outside. Between the Hoyts Cinema and on the side of the road of the Norwood Concert Hall, walk away from The Parade and on your left will appear the doorway into b+mcreative. The entrance brings you into the lower part of b+m, where you can nibble away on delicious food or sip on super well made coffee, while adoring the wall hangings and 3 of the Creative’s display areas around you. Up stairs, is where the other 5 Creative’s display areas live. The great design allows for interchangeable spaces allowing local artists to be ‘in residence’ for a period of time — leasing 4 weeks to 12 months. Due to the small size, this is rather affordable for the talented artists! Also upstairs is the workshop areas for when you(yeah, you, mate!) can come in and do hands on creative masterpieces with more creative-minded people like yourself. A list of great creative workshops are on their webpage at — and can range from weaving, leather work, typography/lettering, floral crowns and camera workshops. The list is always updating! So whether you are picking the mini-humans from school and want somewhere that interacts with their minds(or rather, allows you to look lovingly deep into your coffee while they hang out in the mini-human section with their hot chocs), catching up with your other yummy mummy friends(there is easy access down to the main area by a ramp), an inspirational zone to lose yourself into(did you come up with that idea just from being in that room!?), or, just to catch up with my mate Dave — who will make you just the most fabulous hot beverage… … whatever you do, do it at brick + mortar creative…
