Quite a nice studio near the CBD. An array of paces(slow to fast) and teachers. The floor is cushioned for those of us that like to kiss the floor from time to time. They do have packages, which are not the best, but seem to be keen on increasing their business. Bring your own mat, highly recommended… And water… And a few towels… And water… And another shirt… You will sweat.

Yogafusion use the Barkran method of yoga. The heat is the same as Bikram, but the poses have incorporated other methods of yoga as well as bikram. I tried this as the prices were better than Bikram yoga in the city. But I actually enjoy the classes more. Where Bikram goes through the same poses each time, Barkan varies each time slightly(but will always include the vinyasa variation of salute to the sun). There is also more of a focus on wellness and mindfulness in these classes. The facilities are new, and very pleasant. The bathroom especially is well maintained, which is a plus if like me you’re going straight to work. I leave each time feeling refreshed and relaxed. With the bonus of a great calorie burning workout.
