Ultra Cafe

Really really love this place. As a morning customer the coffee never lets this place down and neither does the service. Owner Simin and the friendly Jess are always there for a smile and a chat, and there’s a real sense of community here. As well as the great coffee, there’s a fantastically designed menu that suits the pace and simple kitchen set up. I really recommend the reuben, but note that the menu does change periodically. Definitely a firm early morning favourite just outside the increasing bustle of Nundah Village.

The place is super cute, with a retro, rustic vibe. All the furniture is hand made from old pallets which gives it a really nice feel and the chairs are quite comfortable, you can sit inside or in the sun.
It’s about a 5 Min walk from Northgate station on a fairly quiet street so the hussle&bussle of Northgates main strip is gone and you are just left feeling tranquil.
The owner was super friendly, which is always make or break for me so I’ll definitely be back.
Coffee prices were fairly reasonable with a small cup (oh and the cups are adorable) at $ 3.50 they also do muffins and slices etc.
Overall, if you live in the area It is defiantly worth the stroll!
