We’ve eaten here a few times. I had some of their burgers the first couple times, and wasn’t that impressed. But the reason for my five star review is their Paella. It is so good, I can’t stop thinking about it. I would say if you are going to Nando’s you have to get the Paella!

I can’t say I have had Portuguese food that often but if it is like what I had at Nando’s, I could certainly get used to it. I went here for lunch after watching a movie and decided to have a classic burger. The establishment is well set up with an array of tables and booths for sitting at. The menus are very colourful and straightforward to follow. After reading through everything, I opted to get my burger in a meal, which comes with a side and drink(for an extra $ 6.50), so I chose Perri-Perri chips to go with my burger, and a nice drink of Mount Franklin water. I liked how you got to choose the spice level and decided to choose«mild» which provided a nice kick in the seasoned chicken without blowing my brains out. The burger arrived at the table after around 6 – 8 minutes, which was very quick, and looked very tasty. The chicken itself tasted fresh and was unlike any of the reconstituted chicken they serve up at fast food takeaway stores. Lettuce and tomato were both very nice however the cheddar cheese, which I added as an extra for $ 1 was not quite a nice as I had hoped and tasted like the cheap cheese slices that you get in a pack of 24 for $ 5. Apart from this, I really loved the fresh bread bun as it provided a very nice texture along with the chicken. The burger was the perfect size too and was definitely a lot bigger than the normal McDonalds and Hungry Jacks equivalents that are tiny by comparison. I was astounded by the number of Perri Perri Chips came on the side(the equivalent of $ 3.50), there were heaps and they were very tasty(and not too spicy). The Perri Perri Chips reminded me somewhat of those sold at Lucky Lupitas at Bedford Park, however the seasoning and overall taste was slightly different. Overall, Nando’s was a very nice way to have lunch and the food was an excellent variation from the standard American burger food joints. The chicken and bread didn’t taste liked it was pumped with lard and preservatives, and it actually felt like my choice was somewhat healthy(well apart from the chips because chips are never really healthy). I would come back to Nandos however the pricing was a tad high for my liking, especially when you compare it to the burger and chips deal you get at the Mexican restaurant Lucky Lupitas.
