First time here at «Meat Me» and definitely not the last time!
The food was so good and soooo filling!
Good size plates for such a good price too.
My Husband and I got the «Mixed Grill for 2» which cost $ 49 and we got, chicken and lamb gyro, tsuzuki dip, pita bread, chicken and lamb skewers, sausage and hot chips… phew!
Let’s just say you should wear stretchy pants lol… very filling!
Great atmosphere and awesome food, but beware gets very busy, especially weekends, so book ahead!

On a chilly Melbourne Sunday, we decided to head to Oakleigh to try a new place. After making a round and weighing our options, we stumbled at Meat Me.
Meat Me seems to have two stores right opposite each other and one is the Souvlaki section and the other a restaurant. We ventured into the Souvlaki one and took a spot in the busy room as the outdoor area seemed to be completely full.
The menu was varied and we settled on the Mix Grill $ 45 for two.
We should have invited extra people with us as we had so much left over.
The Mix Grill platter had pita bread, dip, lamb, chicken, beef patty, skewers and scrumptious CHIPS!
For the price and service I thought $ 45 was reasonable and would go back for a Souvlaki especially as the kitchen closed around 10pm which is very handy.
