This ‘plaice’ was so close to perfection I felt bad giving it anything less than 5 stars.
A friend and I shared the Duo Pack and felt guilty leaving so much food behind — very generous serving size… nearly enough for three to be honest.
For $ 16.50 we got two huge pieces of fish cooked perfectly, two home made potato cakes (potato scallops for the QLD’s among us), two dim Sims and enough chips to feed a small army.
Everything was cooked to order and was crisp, fresh and there wasn’t a soggy chip in sight.

Chips are cooked to perfection! Not soggy with enough crisp and is golden. Best still are the fish! Fresh and good thichness, unlike other chipperies which skimp u with thinly sliced fish and loads of batter. Oh the batter is light so u can taste more of the fish and not soggy that it breaks apart.

Nice clean fish and chip shop while keeping that authentic feel. (Includes a Chicko Roll add on the wall too!) The fresh fish is a treat, and they make their own potato cakes.
Fast service and good food for that late Friday take away.
