Tomato Brothers make my kind of pizzas! I love wood fired gourmet pizzas. I realise that Newcastle is not known as the pizza capital of the world, but they do have a fantastic wood fired pizza place that I absolutely loved before moving to Brisbane. I was finding it hard to find a suitable replacement until I came across Tomato Brothers. Then I learnt they also have cocktails — perfect!
I am yet to try even half the menu but so far everything has been great. Top on my list is the brucchetta, raja tandoori pizza and the parma nova pizza. The toppings are fresh and you get that unbeatable wood fired taste and aroma. Crunchy and rich in flavour. They have banquets available which I plan on trying in a few weekends time. They are only $ 25 per person, how cheap is that?
