Kinda awkward to navigate through the car park in your car. Once inside, you get this feeling that everything is squished in and the furniture salespeople get kinda annoying, even if you state you’re just browsing. Compared to other Harvey Norman stores, I’ll probably steer clear of this one. Minimal range in furniture too.

Oh dear. Educating staff on how to treat customers is invaluable. I bought an outdoor setting costing almost $ 3000 Service up to this point was dismal, trying to find a staff member to serve me wasn’t all that easy. When the setting arrived a chair was broken. I called the store to be to that they would have to get in touch with the manufacturer. If the manufacturer had not got back to me in a couple of days, I should call again. … I’m making the fail sound now. I inform the lady that I bought the chair from Harvey Norman. Harvey Norman bought it from the manufacturer, therefore Harvey Norman keeps me happy and deals with the manufacturer. She says she will get back to me. Of course that’s never going to happen. So the next day I take the chair… Wiggle it into my sports car with the hood down and drive to Harvey Norman. I carry it into the showroom and explain to another elusive staff member what the problem was… Man you’d have thought I’d ordered a pizza, he looked so confused. Off he went to talk to ‘somebody’(now I’m making those annoying finger movements). 20 minutes later he comes back. ‘Somebody’ obviously knows my rights as a consumer and told him to exchange the chair. He did so, then watched as I struggled between the furniture and out of the door to my car. No apology, no gentlemanly gesture of helping me. No more comments from me on the matter. Nuf said.
