I will be honest and say that this place is not terrible. However, I just do not really understand why it exists.
Value:
The campus bookstore at the Ballieu Library has everything this store has and more and at cheaper prices. You find a University of Melbourne sweatshirt here for about 100 dollars while at the bookstore it is about 50 dollars. That is a HUGE difference.
Atmosphere:
This is a pretty small shop hidden in the basement of Union House. To be honest, there’s no much variety if you’re looking to browse.
Customer Service:
They’re fairly friendly, but look a bit bored. I cannot blame them based on how quiet and empty it is in here.
Overall, I cannot fault this establishment, but since it’s just a smaller and more overpriced version of the campus bookstore, I don’t see any benefit whatsoever of coming here at all. There is actually 0 reason.
