This place is soul destroying… You walk in and take a ticket then look up to see you have ticket 99 and they’re still serving ticket 50. Take a look around and you realize other people came prepared for the wait. They’ve brought books, iPads, snacks, drinks, etc. And then just when it gets closer to your number being called staff disappear for breaks. I’m sure it’s done to encourage people to use online banking but there are still some things you need to do at a branch. Bring a really big book and try to avoid the lunch period when it’s busy.

Not enough staff for non-counter enquiries. Despite people waiting, not one, not two but three people disappear(smoko/break?) at the same time. 45 minutes waiting and I still hadn’t been served. Then they took forever when they did serve me and I still had to come back because they didn’t fix my enquiry the first time. I’m new to ANZ but I hope this branch isn’t a reflection of the company as a whole. Feel like I was spoilt with NAB.
