Happy as Larry

We had been wanting to try this pizza for months but never managed to go when the truck was nearby, until last weekend. We shared a margherita pizza for lunch and it was excellent. ($ 14, a bit larger than a personal pizza, cut into 4 slices).

You’ll definitely be Happy as Larry after having 1 (or 4, or whatever) of their pizzas. Having missed them a couple of times when they were near me, I was over the moon to see them finally back in my hood… ok, I acknowledge your point that I could go to them but what is the point of a moving, food production vehicle if they don’t come to you? You don’t see people driving to ice cream trucks do you?! But, I digress. Here’s the deal… Pizzas, nailed it. Nutella calzone, nailed it. Lychee and mint slushy, nailed it. Nutella shake — c’mon, do you even need to ask?
The pizzas range from 14 – 25, and you’ll need 1 each to avoid the awkward ‘no why don’t you have the last slice since you’re clearly heartless’ conversation. The nutella calzone is absolutely jam packed and deliciously messy. And the fruit slushies is perfect to wash it down. Great atmosphere, music pumping, smiley dudes, crazy good food and there’s even hipster seating (aka milk crates). A++
