This restaurant is nice, small and cosy… One of my exes took me here for our first date and still remember their fantastic food and wine. I have since returned with friends and they loved it on both occasions. The only problem is that they are not open everyday which is sometimes a bummer but when they are open they make it worthwhile :)

This restaurant is in Harris Park; there are plenty of references that it is in Parramatta but not entirely accurate. It is surrounded by derelict houses, flats and a plethora of Indian restaurants. It is an oasis. It is a house with a modest but immaculate garden. When you walk inside you forget that you are on the railway line. The only reminder is the sound or shadow of a train as it passes though. We were on a voucher and the menu was limited but was very good. So good, in fact, that going back to pay full price for access to the full menu is a good option. We did pay extra for drinks and as it is an Italian restaurant we also went for an affogato. You could not fault the service, presentation or quality of what was put in front of you. We did ask about some Italian specialties e.g. Zabaglione but got hesitation as they probably do not have the clientele that would ask for this sort of dish. There are specials on their website plus vouchers and it is definitely worth a visit.

The food was mediocre at best. While the Bruschetta we ordered was good the rest of the meal was disappointing. The T-Bone I ordered medium-rare came out well done. The quality of the meat was below average. The came the crème-brûlée: Cold. Despite only having approximately guests at four tables the service was slow and reactive. Mid meal, one of my guests had to get up and order a bottle of wine as none of the wait staff was around to take our order.

The food is just mediocre if you are lucky enough to order the right dish. went with a group of 4 on Saturday night . The restaurant is licenced, but you can also BYO wine. Our waitress was lovely and organised our drink orders well. We ordered garlic bread and a greek salad for the table to start the meal SODISAPPOINTING the bread didn’t taste like anything. I have tasted better cardboard. no flavour at all — no garlic flavour, no butter flavour, no bread flavour no flavour at all — I am not lying. so I tried the greek salad. Still no flavour. I thought someone had removed my tastebuds until I said something out loud. and then we all agreed that the bread and salad were just WRONG. when I eat a greek salad I expect the cheese and olives to be full of flavour, but sadly they had added cheap and nasty ingredients, so we had a cheap and nasty salad. Our mains were better — they couldn’t have got any worse . we also had dessert but it wasn’t good or bad just mediocre I have been here before and had better food. I won’t be coming back again anytime soon — If I’m in the area I think I’ll go to the Greek around the corner. I
