It was the morning. The sun was up. I was up and my stomach was up. Walking back to Parramatta station from Westfields stood like a glowing ball of radiative fuel as it called to my tummy… eat me… eat… eat meee… For brekky, you can grab the bacon and egg with small coffee for nine dollars and something cents. I upgraded to the regular coffee for a cool ten dollars and forty cents. I grabbed my number on a stick for my table, plopped myself down near a young woman drinking something looking like chocolate and one large looking sweet. I see my table number and of course, I was number 1. Can’t get much better than that, minus the food of course. Service was pretty good and speed of delivery for the busy morning was excellent. Out came the coffee with sugar added. Yummo. Then out came the plate with a gorgeous bacon and egg burger and it was a healthy, filling portion of scrumptiousness. The coffee is nice. A mild smooth tasting coffee. The bacon and egg burger had the angels of food salivating a chorus of lalula’s as I sunk my teeth in and tasted its delicious juiciness. This was a good breakfast. I will back one morning shove some of their pancake breakfast down the gullet.

Coffee used to be good, last week my flat white was so weak that i gave it to my 10 years old son and i drank his iced chocolate that was basically a cup of milk with some choc powder and ice cubes… Yuk

This café is situated level 1 inside Westfield Parramatta and very close to the train station. It’s pretty much next to the level 1 food court so not that hard to find. When I went here my first choice of food was unavailable so I just wanted somewhere to sit in peace and quiet and have some semi decent food. Waitress was shocked when I ordered two dishes, I was super hungry but I was also curious about the quality. But whatever woman, feed me. I ordered the hot loco eggs and nutty for waffles. I was tempted to go into brioche French toast territory but I’m not ready for bacon decorated French toast, that’s too American for me. Two problems: 1. Waffles were served straight away with the eggs, the waiter feebly explained that the chef cooked them immediately and then just dumped them on my table. Hmph. 2. Waffles were stone cold and rock hard. They gave me a butter knife to cut them but they should’ve served up a steak serrated blade. The hot loco eggs I did not know what to expect. So when they did arrive I was hesitant to try but they were okay tasting. As in the first thing I thought about what how to incorporate the eggs + tomatoes with the tortilla. Not an easy task for a half sleepy person. The only thing I truly liked about this place was the emptiness and secluded seating I snagged. I can only imagine this place has hot and cold days. I would give it a chance again if my first choice was unavailable next time too.

I always grab a coffee and a muffin here if I have time before my train. Really lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. It’s getting busier and busier! Definitely worth a try if you miss you train!
