It was nice, a huge amount of staff wandering around as its a large venue. Not the best sushi train I’ve been to. Picked a fresh rice roll that was really weird. Think it was crab meat, really not a fan of it at all. The other sushi I tried was nice and fresh. Service was friendly.

the sushis are overpriced and is small portioned. when they close, there are a lot of plates left that they don’t even put on special price. I saw they put some plates in the fridge and probably will be served the next day! the sushi joint on Westfield level 5 is much better.

I used to love coming here for sushi. They were always fresh, had plenty of variety and didn’t feel like robbery. I went there first the first time this year on yesterday and it’s completely changed. The prices have gone WAY up. Two of us used to max at about $ 30 for lunch, but yesterday we hit $ 44 and we didn’t even eat the amount we usually would! The female staff behind the counter were chattering away laughing and cackling into the food they were making. The food choices are severely limited with mostly deep fried stuff, egg, cream cheese filled, rolls, and just generally catering to white population these days. Don’t think I’ll be going back any time soon in the future, if ever again.

This place had great sushi at a good price in the heart of Parramatta. I used to like coming here for some quick food. Since the new year the prices have rocketed up quite a bit. Most dishes are now $ 4.50-$ 5.50. The sizes are the same I guess it’s just inflation.

food — the sushi is nice and fresh. the sauce is very tasty. it is too bad that they stick a bit too much to the classics. service — the train is always well stocked and well organized, the service to get you a glass of water or anything else however is a bit passive atmosphere — the big glass windows, surrounded by flows of people exiting the station or entering the mall gives this place a cool urban feel price — the price is quite reasonable. For about 20AUD you will have eaten 4 – 6 mid-range plates and shouldn’t be leaving hungry

Sushi Bay is the bread and butter of Parra sushi. The food is fresh for most of the day, there’s 4 person tables as well as the usual sushi train seating, and the staff are friendly. I’m not a big fan of their selection, they only have a few nigiri types and the fish isn’t the best quality. The rolls are pretty by-the-book too, mostly plain, uninspired stuff with the occasional oddball(cornflakes??) Overall it’s good if you need a sushi hit, but I prefer Sushi deluxe near Coles for their better selection when I can drag myself the extra hundred meters.
