When I first arrived in Perth and heard people’s stories of how ‘hot’ the rental market was right now and how they’d been looking for an apartment for months with no success, I was worried that finding and renting a place was going to be a bit of an ordeal. This turned out not to be the case, largely thanks to Acton. From viewing the flat to applying for it to signing the papers, it was a quick, easy and stress-​free process. They helped me find a great flat in the location I wanted, and all the staff I’ve spoken to have been helpful, friendly and efficient. When I had a power loss issue, and later when I needed a repair done, they were quick to respond and solved the problem almost immediately. Wonderful.

I have to say, I have never been a big fan of real estate agents in Perth, they never seem to care much and err on the side of condescension. My experience this year with Acton was a little different. It was swift, personal and encouraging. Furthermore, I emailed my property manager about a gas (of the residential kind) issue and got a response within 2 minutes. At the end of the day they are responsible for whether or not you get to live in your dream property, this makes them quite important in your life and its time some other agents started acting like it. Fair play acton, you quenched my cynicism.
