I love this little bakers delight. It’s situated near Woolworths and I’ll quite often pop into both at the same time if I’m being lazy and not bringing in my lunch. The staff are really friendly and it’s usually well stocked. Prices are the same as other bakers delights. Savoy and sweet things are available so it’s great.

Hidden in City Central Arcade, this Bakers’ Delight is handy to know about for those times when you’re wondering around the city, starving hungry, and with only a fiver in your pocket. They sell a range of bread-related products, from savoury things like Vegemite and cheese rolls through to jam rolls and more cake-ish bits and pieces. They also sell bread and can slice it to whatever thickness you like, so if you are doing your shopping in the Woolies next door, it’s best to save your bread-buying until you leave as their bread is about five hundred times as tasty as anything you’ll find in the supermarket.
