Speed 5 Value 2 Taste 2 Service 3 Ordered the lemongrass beef which has very little beef and no lemongrass. Pretty sure it’s tamarind powder flavouring, half a diced tomato some cucumber and a crapload of red onion. Very sweet and sour. It did get cooked really quickly and the limited rice noodles were cooked well. Pretty hard to stuff up rice noodles. Card machine isn’t working but they don’t tell you that until you’ve waited in line for 5 minutes and get to the front. Edible but not really tasty or matching the description. Only eat here if you’re desperate and not very hungry because the serving size is a child’s portion.

So bizarre, as I was driving to the airport I thought, ‘why don’t they have an Asian restaurant at the airport? I could really go some spicy hot soup to ease my cold right now.’ Low and behold I see the new addition to the Qantas terminal food offering is Billie Chu. They serve a small range of Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Serving sizes are small, prices are around $ 15 per dish. The food was good, nothing to write home about(it is an airport after all), but fresh and tasty.
