I love that I can just CAT it into the city and have yummy Viet food. It’s so hard to find nem nuong(grilled meatballs) in Perth and Phi Yen makes some pretty fantastic nem nuong so that’s what I always order when I’m here for lunch. Either with vermicelli or in fresh spring rolls. Super delish! I must say it’s a wee bit pricey by food court standards but the portions are really generous and the food is well-presented. The veggies in my noodles are fresh and the vermicelli is always cooked perfectly. Next time I vow to expand my horizons and try something different!

Love that there are so many Vietnamese options in the city these days. This place has plenty of seating and even has a liquor license if you need to indulge on some alcoholic beverages. Most of their options are pretty authentic and taste great. I prefer the cooked-to-order stuff such as the Phở or Bun Cha Xio(spelling?) as I normally don’t like stuff that’s been made well in advance and just sitting under a heater. Although when I have given the pre-cooked options a try they haven’t failed to deliver on flavour.

Really nice place in Enex100, food is really nice and they serve quickly. It is a little pricey but it is fairly normal for Perth CBD.

This is probably some of the best Vietnamese food you can find in Perth during my two week stay there… Located at the food court inside Enex — I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food here. I took the suggestion of Laura and ordered the lemongrass & chili chicken vermicelli dish. It was extremely tasty and all the ingredients put together was spot on. If I was still in Perth I would probably come here more often.

Phi Yen used to be a lot better. Standards have slipped & they seem to be taking shortcuts. I’d say Mama Tran was the best Vietnamese in the CBD now.

Wow Enex’s food court is a pretty awesome. The quality of the food is high and the surroundings are modern and sleek. Make sure you get the lemon grass and chilli chicken vermicelli dish, it’s a flavour explosion like no other. I’ve also tried to the phở and it was nice enough. Hot tip: get your dining partner to snag a table while you order the food, as there doesn’t seem to be enough seating available, so it may take some time to get a table.

Best Vietnamese in the CBD — highly recommend the lemongrass and chilli beef vermicelli dish(no. 16 — yes Im a regular!!). Suggest dining in as you receive much larger portions than takeaway, although still great value for money.

I’m with Claire on this one; this is easily my favourite place to eat in the CBD and being as though it is part of EnEx100’s superlative food court, there’s plenty of alternatives if you get here and realise you’re not in the mood for Vietnamese. Personally, I prefer to get a three dish combination from their counter for around twelve dollars; last time I was in, I had their salt and pepper fish(amazing) and an amazing beef salad; its’ name escapes me at the moment, but I’ve had servings from most of the dishes they offer and can safely say I recommend them all. Phi Yen is licenced as well, so you can get a beer or wine to wash down your food with. The licenced seating area overlooks the mall in a quiet corner of the food court, which is a nice view. Highly reccomended.

This is class-A food court eatables. If I’m working in the city I will by-pass the greasy Chinese and pizza or unchanging Sumo salad options for lunch, and joy in a chow down at Phi Yen. I always get the bun, which is rice vermicelli noodles served cold and without a broth; a noodle salad if you will. It’s served with marinated, chopped meat and topped with veggies and fresh herbs. Phi Yen are bun champions and it’s served fresh to you in minutes. The bowls are ample and any special request for extra this, or less of that, are accommodated too. If you’re not in the mood for noodles, the counter is lined with saucers of authentic stir-fried Vietnamese dishes.
