We’ve been to Edge of Sahara a few times and the food has been great every time. The standout dishes to me are the Falafels, the Ful Madames and the Lamb Tagine. I also love the traditional African pancake served with the mains.

Small but very nice interior décor. Run by one or two people. They take care of guests really well. Service was a bit on the slower side but tasty food made up for that. It just means they put in a lot of effort preparing it. Fresh and yummy dips available. Overall very good experience.

I have visited The Edge of Sahara many times now and have never been disappointed! TEOS specialises in African dishes from regions surrounding the Sahara desert, with veg/vegan, meat, and gluten free options. The owners are incredibly friendly and make you feel like a guest in their home. The café/restaurant has a very relaxed vibe and great fit out. I have eaten breakfast and lunch here multiple times and usually opt for the«Shakshuka”(Slow cooked Tagine, Saharan tomato salsa topped with eggs, white cheese and chilli served with flat bread.) I’ve also tried: summer breaky, east african spicy burger and ful madames. All dishes were delicious. The Habesha Ethiopian coffee was also great and definitely worth the price i think. Highly Recommended!
