I was hesitating between 3 or 4 because this is a good restaurant to eat good asian fusion food but it is nothing truly original except for this horrible dessert named«Stoner’s delight part 3». The staff is really nice and the place is definitely cool !! We have tried all the appetizers on the menu which were really good and then I had the chicken fried rice and the charcoal brocollinis. It was not original but yummy. We tried two desserts: «tropical passion»(delicious!) and the famous«Stoner’s delight part 3»(don’t go there! — it is a mix between donut dulce de leche bacon raspberry curd, chips … Yes chips, I still don’t quite understand how it is possible to serve this, the taste is really bad) However, despite this dessert, it was a really nice evening with good meals ;) I recommend this restaurant !

So the food really gets a 3 star here — flavor is nothing too spectacular but presentation is decent. That being said — this place is incredible. Great views of downtown(CBD) Sydney and wonderful ambience. If you have to choose between seeing the Opera House or eating at Mrs G’s — take the bridge over and see this amazing place.

Amazing food and cool atmosphere. They have a cheeseburger spring roll, enough said. Also, try their ink calamari noodles, it is waaaayyyy better than imagined

This restaurant was all the rage a few years ago when it opened and it’s taken me this long to get there. I went for an anniversary dinner with my wife and it was a great night out. Like most Merivale group restaurants, the staff and team is exceptional. They all bring their individuality and class to all restaurants — this is no different. The restaurant itself is setup in a federation terrace in Potts Point. It’s neon signage is a call out to the sights and sounds of any late night Asian metropolitan side street. Don’t be fooled, this building has a few levels and can entertain couples and much larger groups of you are looking to entertain. My only downside on the place would be the bathroom being located at the very bottom may not be great for those who have accessibility needs. I am recovering from a calf injury at the moment and it was a but frustrating. If I wasn’t it wouldn’t be at all :) The food. We started with the Cheeseburger Roll. It’s a spring roll(normal size) stuffed with the contents of what would make up an American cheeseburger — minus the bun! Delicious and I could just have many of those and would be sorted. Next up we tried out the Spicy Gyoza’s, my wife isn’t great with spices or chilli but she enjoyed it because of the stunning garlic based sauce served with it. It’s pungent and has a slow burn! To finish the entrée’s we had a tempura Eggplant with smoked Ponzu sauce which gave a smoother taste than usual Ponzu sauce. Again outstanding! The Mains we chose were Fried Rice with Chicken and the Fried Chicken. By this point our eyes were bigger than our stomach but everything was so fantastic you could fault us. Fried rice was served with an fried egg that we had to break up and mix up into our meal. The Fried Chicken was crisp, a bit spicy(very mild) and it’s served with a sweet soy based sauce and comes with many pieces! Great to share with two or three people. Drinks. I had the Notorious Tea and it comes in a small tea set but don’t be thinking it’s lame, because this is rum/cognac/lime so it was sweet and on point for the food we got as well. Dessert. The dessert was something else. Potato chips stuff out of bacon crumbs on top of a small mount of crème de Luca icecream, berries, peanut brittle and little bits and pieces of broken peanuts and pretzels. This was something else altogether — to true Masterclass of dessert. A fantastic restaurant in a great location with every working together in its favour! Will definitely return with friends again.

This place was hands down our best meal of our entire week long visit to Sydney! Granted, we were walking everywhere and were staying in the Rocks area(I know there are lots of great places there but we didn’t find very many). We were so busy with walking to all the sites and activities that when it came time to eat, we just ate at the highest rated and best sounding, Unilocal rated spots, nearby to wherever we were at the moment. We randomly came across this place on a food list and were drawn in by the very interesting sounding menu. Of course we found it the morning of the day we were ending our week long trip to Sydney. We walked a long mile and a half in the rain to try it and were not disappointed. When you walk in it has a really cool, Asian, hip-hop ambiance, kinda hard to describe but I loved it. We made a reservation through open table so we could collect points but we arrived early and they were able to accommodate. There is loads of seating on different levels with big windows looking back at the city. We were there for lunch at 12:30 on a Friday and one of the levels was just about full, but we were sat immediately and there was still the other levels to accommodate seating anyways. The wait staff was super friendly and eager to help us with the menu. The white guy with the glasses was our main guy and he was awesome, but they were all great! He seemed to enjoy working there so much it made the whole experience that much better. We ended up getting: Cheeseburger spring rolls, they tasted just like the name and as a big burger fan, stoked. Kinda pricy for one but what isn’t expensive these days and it was well worth the cost. Pork belly Banh Mi slider was delicious and tasted exactly how I like Banh Mi to taste, I eat lots of them and think I know what a good one is, I’ve never been to Vietnam so I couldn’t say whether its traditional but don’t care either. Definitely small slider sized but worth it. Curry chicken jaffle was unique and delicious. I had no idea what it was at first but it’s like one of those sandwiches that’s pressed and it seals the edges with everything inside. It was nostalgic and the curry was a really good yellow curry with some veggies in it too. It was mild spice so I covered it in sriracha. Persian fried rice was slightly spicy and really fragrant rice with a delicious sunny side up egg on top. It was really good and too spicy for my wife so I got to eat the entire thing. Stoners delight dessert was amazing. It sounded like a huge hodge podge of delicious things and it was. It almost sounded like too much and it wouldn’t work but it totally did. It had everything. sweet, salty, crunchy, soft, hot, and cold. The Mars bar brownies and Nutella balls were my favorite part. Super, super, good, could only be better if I was stoned?! DEFINITELY will return should we be in Sydney again. I wish we had more time because we would have had more meals there and gotten to try more menu items. Great dining experience! *Side note, I also thought the men’s bathroom was really cool and had some sweet, custom looking bucket sinks with newspaper plastered all over the walls. clean and nice too.

Wow. Surprised to realise I’ve never reviewed Ms G’s because this is one of the restaurants I recommend all my friends to eat at when they are in Sydney! I’ve been to Ms G’s a handful of times and the food here is aways consistent. Great asian fusion flavours and dishes you really won’t find anywhere else. Some of my favourites include the cheeseburger spring rolls, banh mi sliders(go pork belly over the chicken katsu), the lamb ribs, the shrimp toast, and the burrata. I also LOVE the aloe vera cocktail, and yes you can get it in a mocktail version(I’m doing Febfast). Definitely get this cocktail and then try one of the packaged bubble tea drinks too! If you can, try to get a group together and do the banquet menu(mandatory for groups over 6). This is a great deal, as it’s $ 65 per person and about 10 dishes in total. You will definitely not leave feeling hungry. This is a Sydney staple so check it out!

This was a group favorite in a slew of truly delicious meals. I’m told Potts Point is something of an «up-and-coming» neighborhood in Sydney; home to many of the city’s adult entertainment businesses and backpacking hostels, trendy restaurants like Ms. G’s and bars like the Powder Keg(another review forthcoming) made it a frequent destination during my week in Sydney. Now on to Ms. G’s! Unique and delicious Asian Fusion served in a restaurant that could, on several of its levels, be mistaken for a nightclub. While they do not take dinner reservations unless you are a party of 6 or more(at which point I believe you are opted into their banquet menu), you can make reservations for lunch every day and dinner Sunday through Thursday. You can also eat the full menu in their bar, in which seating is fairly accessible through 6:30 or 7pm, even on the mid-summer Saturday evening I visited. Now, what I don’t recommend is showing up at 7:30−9pm on a Saturday night without reservations! For many points during this time window I saw people lined up outside(unable to access even the bar, due to the restaurant being at capacity), so not only are you waiting, but you are also waiting without sustenance! Highlights on our menu(as already surfaced): –Sticky lamb ribs. They’re VERY salty so you’re going to want to tone the order down with some rice or other less salty substance but these were probably the headline event at our table. –Fried chicken. This was pretty similar to karaage, but very well prepared. If you like fried chicken(as it seems people in Sydney seem to), I recommend getting it! –Dessert. I know everyone seems very hot on the Stoner’s Delight. We opted instead for THEBOSS milk tea ice cream sundae topped with puffed rice, honeycomb and a bunch of other delicious stuff. We got a few drinks while we were waiting but all agreed the food stole the show. Recommend reallocating that stomach space for more entrees!(And to that end, show up with at least four people so you can try more stuff.)

Such a funky little find in Potts Point. We went on a Saturday night(when they only take walks ins), sat in the very cool cocktail bar listening to the DJ for half an hour before being seated. You could also leave you mobile number and get a text when a table was ready. However I suggest hanging out and trying one of their amazing cocktails. Once being seated the adventure began. Friendly service and dish after dish of tasty tasty food. We were not disappointed with anything! We had the mini banh mis, cheeseburger spring rolls(OMG so good), pigs tails, chicken curry jaffles, sticky lamb ribs and the fried chicken. To top it all of we shared the stoners delight dessert which was just heavenly. I can not wait to go back here again. Keep in mind that this is a haven for young people. So the music is quite loud which can make conversation difficult at times. That is only a very small gripe from my point of view though. All in all this is still worth the 5 stars I’ve given it.

Went to Ms. G’s for my birthday. You have to get the sticky lamb ribs! My favorites were the sticky lamb ribs and the deep fried pork hock! Killer atmosphere! Playing 90s &2000s hip hop… Can’t go wrong with that.

This might be one of the craziest restaurants I’ve ever been to. The menu is an oddball fusion mashup of pan-Asian dishes, with unique Western twists. Best bet is to go with a decent sized group and go for the banquet set menu. This is the easiest way to get the broad spectrum of awesomeness on display at Ms. G’s. Of note are the banh mi sliders, cheeseburger spring rolls and deep fried pork knuckle. The Stoner’s Delight is a diabolical confection obviously born out of a serious and prolonged pot high. Seriously, who would think of this straight?

Have only been here for dessert and boy was it good! Between 3 ladies we shared The stoners delight as well as The Boss. Currently, the delight is: «Stoner’s Delight part 3» doughnut ice cream, peanut dulce de leche, peanut & pretzel brittle, crispy bacon, mars bar brownie, passionfruit curd, potato chips and deep fried nutella $ 16 * «The BOSS» Thai milk tea icecream, salted caramel, honeycomb, puffed rice, kaya French toast, blueberry jam $ 14 Place was packed around 8pm but we got a table at the ground level just before the stairs. Staff are friendly and prompt, they even go through the ingredients with you when the dishes come out which is pretty neat seeing as there is so much on the place. I enjoyed the boss more as well as the nutella balls, i wasnt really a fan of the doughnut ice cream! Overall, good first visit and i can now tick this dessert menu of my list: D

When I looked at the menu I just wasn’t sure how much I would enjoy this place … Let me start by saying you will not be disappointed by ANYTHING on the menu. I deferred to my two(slightly overbearing) sisters to take care of the ordering. You will constantly be surprised and delighted by all the tastes and textures. On top of all that the service was swift and friendly. Everything from the entrees to mains was a taste sensation. There’s just no other way to describe it all. If you have a chance to go to Ms. G’s — do it. You will not regret it.

Lovely ambience — was here on a Friday arvo for lunch so it was lovely, quiet, and full of light. Would have liked to see the level below ground as the basement had lovely plants/backyard. Banquet was delicious. Loved — every — single — dish. The corn was delicious and started the banquet on a great note. Prawn toast was interesting. Salads were alright — perhaps a little spicier would appease the palate more for the next dish. Would have liked the pork knuckle and bo ssam to be brought out earlier as the party was full by the time it arrived. Dessert was lovely! A course meal should have the right tempo and it is the only reason why Ms. G’s is not getting a 5⁄5 from me today. Will come back and try again on different days/time.

Ms. G’s was recommended to me by some Sydney locals and friends that had been while visiting Sydney. It was highly recommended with excellent cocktails and food, but expect to wait a while for a table as it’s hugely popular. A group of 5 went in the early evening before a concert so had no problem getting a table. The cocktails were great — I’d definitely recommend the Aloe Vera and the whiskey martini. The food was fantastic — and this is where Ms. G’s has 5 stars. We had the pork hock, barramundi and fried chicken as large plates along with the brocollini for a small plate. All of it was fantastic and plenty of food for 5 people. Service was very good as well. Will be coming back here on the next trip to Sydney

From Order To Table: Perfect timing. Like that time I learned how to pronounce quinoa properly just before doing on a date with a chef. Service-ometer: Cookie cutter. Stomachability: 10⁄10. Five stars. 100%. ‘praise’ emoji. Digest suggest: To impress a date. Ms G’s is another great example of the ever impressive Merivale conglomerate. Modern décor, very warm, lots of wood and if you sit yourself correctly you can have a great view of the harbour as well. Noise level is really appropriate too for such a big place. Known for their bubble tea style cocktails, I highly suggest getting at least 2 or 3 to try. You won’t be disappointed. Modern asian fusion menu that is constantly changing. Was there for a birthday recently and was thoroughly impressed by their ability to supply a consistent buffet.

Love this place! We are spoilt with restaurants in NYC and Ms Gs is up there! The food was delicious and it had a really nice vibe. Food I loved: — steak tartare, it’s slightly different to the usual but definitely one of the bests(if not the best) — lamb ribs are a must — drooling thinking about them again — Squid ink nasi goreng — mini banh me sliders — deep fried pork hock Not only was the food amazing, it was all very reasonably priced!

The prawn toast is still fabulous! So are the ribs. Just perfectly cooked, falling off the bone deliciousness. Service is good — all the staff are ridiculously good looking, trendy and… nice. Always packed to the gills. Try to make a reservation. I don’t think they take reservations??? Good spot, especially if you love South East Asian cuisine with a chi-chi twist.
