Cute bar. We walked in on a Wednesday night after seeing a 2 for 1 drinks special advertised. There was not a soul in there at 9:30pm. We asked the bartender for two cocktails. He asked if we’d like espresso martinis. We said no, both not coffee lovers. He replied that they were the only cocktails he knew how to make. Strange! We settled on two ciders (Bulmers on tap) for $ 7. Nothing wrong with the price and the bartender was nice.

When we arrived there was a handful of people, but admittidly it was midnight on a Sunday night.
The bartenderess asked what type of cocktails we liked and I replied ‘anything with Gin — Bombay or West Winds but not too citrusy
Hmmmm’ she replied but said she could make us up something we would love.
Love we did, we had two of those mothers!
I enjoyed the vibe and we got chatting to many people there. By the time we left we kind of staggered back to where we were staying, which was the Cullen so it wasn’t a major feat.
I liked Carpe Diem and since my experience there, Carpe Diem is my phrase word now!
I recommend this bar, we really enjoyed it.
