Franco Choo’s

I wanted to like this place so much. It’s a minuscule whole in the wall, set up for homely meals that continue long into the night. This place is the antithesis of the new factory restaurant, the kind that churns people out at rapid pace.
Here you’ll find two items for each course, and you can mix and match as preferred. As I sat down at the tiny table in the most intimate of settings my excitement was bubbling. I felt that if the choices were limited, they would have absolutely perfected the meals on offer. I ordered the rockling with soy and sesame oil black rice. For the first time in about 7 years, I didn’t finish my meal. Unfortunately it wasn’t to my taste.
The waitress approached and asked if the food was okay. I told her I didn’t like the food very much. She gave an awkward laugh, which is understandable. The staff overall was very kind.
This place has a lot of potential, that is why I’m giving 3 stars. I want to encourage everyone to try this unique dining experience for themselves. I hope it works out better for you.
