One of the coolest new places in Prahran. Located just down the street from the Greville Street station on High Street, Graze Bar is offering up some hip, retro cocktails and delicious food. Love the open kitchen that you can sit at the counter and watch the guys cook and interact with them as they prepare the food. Ben, head chef and co-owner is such an awesome guy. The kind of person you meet and say I want him to be my friend. It feels like you are sitting in his kitchen. And man, oh man, the food is fabulous. I have been in twice now since they opened. Once for dinner on a Friday night, and once for brekky on a Sunday morning. For dinner, Klinton greeted us as we walked in and we decided to sit in the back dining room. It’s a nice cozy space, full of brick and wood. I started with an An «old fashion» Graze, followed with The Graze Platter. Lots of tasty morsels. I would normally say it is good to share, but the food is so good I would recommend that you need to get your own. Each night is the chef’s choice, so on the night I went it consisted of: Wagu Slider, BBQ Beef Short Rib, Porterhouse Steak, Truffle Chips, Cole Slaw, American Style Buffalo Wings, Meatballs, Crispy Soy Pork Rib. I was so stuffed when I left I could barely walk the 1K home. On Sunday, once again we were greeted by Klinton, but this time we sat up front so we could talk to Klinton and Ben while he was cooking up pure goodness. For brekky, I had the corn fritters with relish and a side of grilled bacon. Yep, I said it, grilled bacon. I don’t think it gets any better than the taste of smokey grilled streaky bacon. Pair all that up with a beautiful hot latte and brekky was one of the days highlights for me. If you want a place were you can go after work and hang out with some kool cats and have a beverage or two and some great tapas or a full dinner, Graze Bar is the place to be. Make sure you save a seat for me(please).
