I’m in trouble now. You see I have taken the journey into the pizza never-never that is Happy As Larry Pizza Food Truck(in Sydney) and now every Italian-style pizza fades into nothingness when it hits my taste buds. And that was the problem today at Pizzaperta, where I bit ever-so-hopefully into their Fior Di Latte and basil enriched pizza, otherwise title ‘The Margherita’. It was probably a few minutes overcooked, leaving the basil blackened and the crust chewy and flavourless. It left me wanting to ask HAL what went wrong! They do use great ingredients here but I can’t say they put the love into my pizza. At least not the way …(… alright enough said**) **I know where I will be tomorrow night!

While waiting for a friend to come pick me up I decided to grab a coffee and enjoy the lovely weather while sitting in their outdoor seating. Now I didn’t order more than a skim milk latte but I will say the service from the lady behind the counter was amazing… the coffee was perfect temperature and the place was clean. I will definitely return to try their pizza when I’m in the area and feeling hungry. :)

Awww man if you a craving pizza! These guys will totally hit the spot! They have a great selection of classic pizzas and you can top off the feast with Nutella smothered goodness on a pizza served with strawberries. The boys by the bar are super cool and friendly. There’s set cocktails but if you have any special requests I’m positive they’re have to make something work. Awesome location on a sunny day. Outdoor Harbour side with a view of Barangaroo and the bridge. It’s totally a great space to bring the family and if your like me you may have crazy nieces that love climbing and hiding distractions. The star letters were best amusement for them.

This is a stunning little pizza bar outside of Star Casino and overlooking the water. We stumbled across it looking for a taxi and decided to stay and have a quick drink before returning to our hotel. It was good that we did as it was a little gem of a find! First off, the view is awesome. And since some Of the tables are outside we reaped the benefits off Sydney’s gorgeous weather. Overcast and breezy, but not cold. Perfection. Secondly, the cocktails were amazing. We had espresso martinis which were incredible and Amaretto sours which were to die for. They were so, so, so good! The staff there are attentive and so friendly. The main bartender who served us seemed to be in a managerial position and was so friendly and willing to serve us in any way he could. We wanted a vanilla vodka and Coke for one of our parties drinks and even though they didn’t have vanilla vodka he managed to make it work with some homemade French vanilla bean syrup — yum! When I come back to Sydney this is definitely on my list to return to!
