Sitting in the heart of historic Pyrmont, this multi-​level venue features four main areas, balconies, a bistro, a sun-​filled courtyard and some cosy nooks. The public bar has all the hallmarks to be expected from a heritage-​listed pub, complete with timber panelled bar and relaxed seating.

Head upstairs to the hushed surrounds of Margot’s Lounge, where there are plenty of ottomans and a large fireplace. Sip on cocktails at the Verandah Bar as you look out over John St Square.

The pyrmont point hotel is all you could ask for in a local pub. The beers are inexpensive and the food is always great!
Every time I have come here the staff have been really friendly and my food has come out really quickly.
The wagu burger is really good for a simple pub burger. Would recommend.

I want to give props to the owner this evening. We got some takeaway. The girls wanted some calamari, but being young they don’t want the salad and sauce that comes with the tapas version. The person sitting next to us was the owner. He heard that the girls were disappointed in the presentation. I said I’ll just go back in and order another batch just dry. He asked us how we wanted it and went into the kitchen and had it fixed. He didn’t have to do that because I all likelihood I ordered it wrong. So thank you sir it is most appreciated. My family loves our local pub. We will definitely keep coming back.

Went here for lunch last week and was very impressed by the standard of food and drinks selection. We had the squid salad and the chicken parmy — both of which were cooked beautifully, served hot and service was great! Sitting outside in the courtyard is a great way to spend your lunch hour too!

The Pyrmont Point Hotel is the home of Sydney’s GREATEST vegetarian burger. This is not an exaggeration.
A lentil patty rests inside of a fresh bap roll, smothered in aoli and blanketed in some green stuff. Seriously, this burger rocks. 18 bucks well spent.
Exchange the side of chips for a garden salad and you’re on your way to Satisfaction-​ville; Population: Your taste buds.
With names like The King!, The Cattleman and The New Yorker the rest of the mains on the menu will have you hooked at the title. Fellow diners loved the pastas, the salads and the steak sandwiches.
We dined as a group of approximately 30 and the venue catered for us impeccably. The pub has plenty of room for movin’ and shakin’ with a group of any size.
It is well worth the time to take a stroll over the Pyrmont Bridge and seek out this hidden treasure on Pyrmont’s Harris Street.

Fantastic food every time we’ve been. Very nice atmosphere as well.
However… if you don’t like a lot of children about, don’t dine on Sunday afternoons when kids eat for free.

As a relaxed place to get a drink, the Pyrmont Point Hotel fits the bill. It’s a standard pub located at the corner of Harris and John Streets, close enough to the water that you can feel a cool breeze. I came here with several friends for a drink since we were waiting for a later dinner reservation in Pyrmont. We had time to kill, so all of us decided to stop for some beer at the Pyrmont Point Hotel. There really isn’t anything that sets this pub apart from others. The bartenders were pretty plain, but competent. It really sucks that there’s a $ 20 minimum for card transactions. Though this isn’t unusual, I do not get why this is so common.

Based right down the end of Harris Street as you almost hit the water is The Pyrmont Point Hotel. A great place for locals and workers in the area to stop in, have a drink and something to eat.
The sports bar as you enter, you guessed it shows sport pretty much all of the day and night. There is a TAB area tucked away to the side if you feel the urge to have a bet on what you’re watching. As you walk through there’s a couple of rooms as you head through to the back court yard which is quite nice. On the way you’ll pass the bistro which is quite popular especially with the work crowd who book out a few tables and look for a long lunch, so be quick!
Upstairs is another bar area with an outside courtyard and it also can be booked for functions. Although it’s right near the water there are no water views, that I can see anyway. Maybe if you stand on the roof upstairs you may catch a glimpse although I’m pretty sure that’d be very illegal!
