This place is a higher-​end type of café for Randwick. Nice seats out in the sun, friendly waiters. Food is going into expensive territory but is satisfying.

Dans la rue principale de Randwick, le Zellini’s s’impose avec sa terrasse ombragée.
La vitrine est alléchante :-) Tous ces gâteaux plus beaux les uns que les autres nous tendent les bras. La part est généreuse et le service fort sympathique. Idéal pour un «Kaffee Kuchen». Pas étonnant que l’on retrouve ici un bout de culture allemande. Le mari de la patronne est d’origine germanophone.
Concernant les repas, les portions sont toutes aussi rassasiantes et même si l’on attend parfois un peu avant de recevoir son assiette, cela vaut le coup parce que le plat est fraîchement cuisiné, les saveurs et arômes sont enivrants.
Idéal donc pour un repas en famille ou passer un instant tranquille avec un ami. D’ailleurs le Zellini’s a ses habitués ainsi que son fidèle staff et c’est agréable de pouvoir discuter de choses et d’autres avec des personnes sympathiques et ouvertes.

I figured Zellini’s was good on approach as the place was virtually packed. It is a comfortable place to dine providing Wooden tables and chairs and lounge style seating.
I went for breakfast and was forced to decide between Chilli Corn Cakes with avocado, bacon, fried egg and sweet chilli sour cream, French Style rolled omlette filled with creamy mushrooms or ricotta hotcakes with caramelised banana and maple syrup.
I was hesitant about the corn cakes as it was bit early in the day for me to eat chilli, but I decided to give it a go and I am glad I took the risk. I am a sucker for avocado and bacon anyway, but it was soooooo good, I highly recommend it. I would like to go back for the ricotta pancakes but I reckon I would probably end up having the corn cakes again.
