Google«Brisbane Helium Hire» and«Brisbane DIY Helium Hire». See the conundrum of someone who plans events is having a little black book, if you will, of go-to suppliers for all things parties. Searching for helium I hadn’t even thought of that randomly placed party shop on Musgrave Road that I’ll admit I used to wander in my lunch break sometimes in my previous job(you know to get ideas). As well as helium tank hire($ 69.95 for 50 balloons) this shop has possibly everything you’d think you want and more for parties for a multitude of occasions. 1920s flapper? Check. Fake blood for a Zombie walk? Check. Random paper plates and what not? Check. Keep these guys in mind next time you need anything remotely party orientated!

I learnt this week, that Brisbane has a lack of good party stores. Party Domain was easily the best party store we found. I was shopping with a friend for an engagement. So I don’t want big numbers, I don’t want blow up jukeboxes, and I want options. Party domain gives this. Parking is a bit tricky, right in front of the store. If you were to get the chance to back in I would, otherwise make sure you get a break in traffic to get out. The store is a pretty good size, and full of glittery, sparkly, large, over the top decorations. Heaps of colours available in their crêpe paper, plates and such. Where we live in such an Internet oriented world, if you’re looking for a shop to get a look at decorations take a trip to party domain.
