A Sunday night after a few reds means there’s no cooking for me! Ordered home delivery through the Eat Now app and was looking forward to some tasty Thai. It was tasty. Sort of. Three of us shared popcorn chicken and the crispy sweet potato for starters. The popcorn chicken would turn out to be the highlight of the whole meal and the ‘crispy’ sweet potato were just chips… lacking any crisp. The Grill’d version are waaaaay better. Mains of chilli chicken and beef were okay. Too much onion, not enough spice. You can add extra veg for $ 3 and in future that’s what I would do. Wouldn’t rush back but wouldn’t run a mile if somebody suggested it either.

If you are after a quick & tasty Asian meal, that’s relatively healthy, Gllow might be for you. It’s our local Asian joint that we often get a cheeky takeaway from when we haven’t had time to get to the supermarket or are getting home too late from work to be bothered to cook. Their rice dishes are yummy and the stir fried noodles are tasty and fresh too. Ask for an extra serve of vegetables if you are feeling virtuous and they are happy to oblige for a few extra dollars. The husband also loves their fried rice with BBQ pork — not so healthy in this case, but mighty tasty nonetheless. They do a range of bubble drinks and iced teas, none of which I have tried myself(not my thing), but they seem popular with others. A few tables inside and out on the street if you want to dine in. Otherwise takeaway never takes much longer than 10 mins from ordering to getting out the door. A good solid performer!

Cheap, easy & good food! The bento box is sensational & only $ 12. I would suggest take away as can get very cramped as only a small place. I have tried many items on the menu & am yet to find something I don“t like. You can be full till you are about to pop for $ 20.

Bring your $ 10 and stay for lunch. Deliciously cooked on the spot if you looking for something a little spicy– it won’t break your bank balance. I have been a regular since they opened over a year ago. I love the Banto box — something different to try in the box.

Gllow replaced one of those eateries that never seems to stay the same for long. There was a soup place, and brunch place, something else and now Gllow. I personally think Gllow easily tops the other restaurants in the same shop space. Gllow does super fast eat in and take away Taiwanese food, generous serves at cheap prices. My favourites are the popcorn chicken, better than any fast food restaurant does. Three cup chicken, just enough chilli and a good serve of mixed vegetables. To drink the iced teas and crushed ice drinks with bubbles are the way to go. I’ve always found the food tasty an filling. A great choice is a «bento» box with a serve of one of the mains, some fried entrées, rice and salad. They have recently added some extra tables in to make extra space for eat in which is great because the place is regularly packed.
