This place is the shit. As in good shit. I come here to trawl through the leopard print items for basics like $ 3 leggings, i just dig my way through the piles of xxxxxxxxxxxxs xxxs to try and find a medium. But when I do… the value is supre-me. The clothes here can seem obnoxious if you look at the flouro clad mannequins. But dig deeper and you’ll find reasonably priced basics. And maybe a $ 2 tshirt with a cat wearing sunglasses(I wore it first!). The staff are friendly enough, you don’t come here for the friendly or helpful service though. It’s akin to op shopping you need to be prepared to spend some time panning for gold. Most likely you’ll leave with 20 items and spend $ 30. And maybe you’ll wear most of them. Extra pro: the clothes are made in Australia so the only people who have to sweat in/for them are you. Con: no eftpos for purchases under $ 10, which sucks when half of the items are under $ 5.

Supre, forever squishing as much stock into confined spaces. I won’t often enter a Supre store, mostly because it’s too cramped and I get flustered, but also because of Supre shame. As some of the other girls have noted, Supre is not a brand to flaunt. Yet I couldn’t help myself checking this store out. Outlet gets me every time. Unfortunately it seems they don’t stock clothing for girls with a big bust, so not many tops and dresses agreed with my boobs. When you see outlet you think extremely cheap out of season stock, but be prepared because, as most sneaky advertising goes these days, it’s not all outlet stock. There’s a huge lump of new season stock at regular Supre pricing, which is ridiculous for the quality you are getting. There are a few $ 2, $ 5, $ 10 like racks stuffed with real reject stuff, but you really have to sift through to find anything half decent. I still grabbed a few bargains, mostly for clothing alteration projects.

Quote Samantha: «Just don’t tell them it is from Supre». I think everyone who has pride should live by this rule, wear sunglasses when you walk into the store, add a scarf when you come out with a pink Supre shopping bag. The sizing is pretty complimentary here, for example, my Supre size in jeans is XS, that’s a bit of a confidence boost even if I know I’m really a size 10. You know this isn’t always a good thing though because it kind of pushes larger girls into wearing clothing that isn’t flattering to their body shape. I’m fairly tall and all the dresses only just cover my vagina; I have a sad feeling that it’s meant to be this short. For basics, this is a great outlet, cheap cheap cheap, If I had a daughter though, I would never take her here, that’s almost like saying its OK to look like an utter skank in your teens. but for singlets and stuff its pretty good, especially with the $ 20 bag thing they got going on where you stuff as much clothing into it as humanly possible. Say no to the ripped, almost crotchless leggings.

Personally I’m not real into Supre clothing but I used to shop here a bit when I was younger and if you are a young girl or have young girls or have to buy for young girls(young meaning to maybe 25, depending on the person) this is definitely the place to go. Look out for their bag sales they have occasionally. You buy a bag for about $ 20 and you can get whatever fits in the bag for that price. Most their clothes are small anyway so you fit heaps and heaps in. Sometimes at really good sales they have stuff out from only about $ 2 an item! It’s quite unbelievable. Parking available on site.

Ok. Yes it is Supre, but is the cheapest basics you will find in Adelaide. Supre itself is quite cheap, but the clearance store is dirt cheap. Think nothing over $ 15. I have come in and bought numerous singlets, t-shirts and dresses and still gotten change from a 20. Yes a lot of the clothes are quite tacky. Think ripped leggings and tops that barely cover… anything. But if you chose wisely, you can find some good buys. Once I went in there ridiculously poor, hoping I could find some type of outfit for a night out. I found a cropped sequinned top that I seem to get compliments on all the time(just don’t tell them it is from Supre). Conveniently located next door is the shoe shed. Selling bargain shoes. Yes you can buy your entire outfit with $ 50, in 20 metres.
