Try Shakshuka (eggs, tomato sauce, onions and capsicum) a popular Israeli breakfast and made with love there. Served in an iron pot its perfect for a hangover… If you’re not Jewish add Bacon trust me you can’t go wrong :-)

Not a bad little café the staff seem cheerful & the service has been fast & reliable the 2 times I’ve been here it’s defiantly somwhere I recommend coming to.

The coffee was good, ordered the Salmon Eggs Benedict for breakfast — possibly the worst I’ve ever had. The ‘muffin’ was too tough, the knife and fork couldn’t cut through — so I ended up having to eat the thing with my hands…

Thought I’d give this place another review as my first one was only five words long. I know, I know, poor effort on my behalf but that was just over a year ago and this is now.
The staff here are awesome with the barista being particularly entertaining. She has a nice, cheery personality with probably one of the most bizarre hairstyles I have ever seen.
The deco is great and its got that nice wooden feel that a lot of places seem to go for these days. I love sitting on the communal table at the front window with a couple of friends while sitting down for a quick coffee.
That however is where Spout loses a star for me. They use Allpress beans and I have never found a place that makes particularly good coffee out of Allpress. It could just be the beans, I don’t know, just not my cup of tea (of coffee). That being said, my last visit here I asked for a Cold Drip, to which I received a baffled look from the waitress and in the end had to get a flat white instead. Good times.
This place is exactly what you need in a nice café. Definitely not stand out but it does the job.

Decent, friendly vibe, always bustling with people and coffee is good enough.
Standard 4 star café, the best coffee in Vic at Bodhi is 5 minutes away though.

Fantastic coffee and food, certainly a nice find in this otherwise barren of good coffee area. Nice and sunny, nice vibe, great staff!

The coffee here is exceptional. Head barista Ang is amazing at what she does and she always aims to please even the most fussy of customers. You get value for money with the food on offer, and there’s something for everyone. My favourites are (so hard to choose) the shakshuka, Spout Benedict, and the pastrami bagel. The staff are friendly and happy to have a chat and the vibe in the café is more personal than at the bigger café found across the road and around the corner…

Coffee was decent. Found the customer service this particular Saturday to be pretty average.
No eye contact, a few words muttered. The staff behind the counter were more interested in talking about a customer and giggling.
