Been here a number of times for a decent feed in the past.
However, the new menu is not to my taste. Whereas previously they had simple steaks and sauces, now there are only fancy sauces which take away from the steak. No bernaise, Diane, etc
Also, the service had gone down hill.
On three occasions now meals
At our table have been served 10 mins apart, and items forgotten etc
For an rsl, I think they need to go back to what they had before, which I believe there was no need to change.
The «get your table number before ordering» system often confuses diners and leads to
Frustration.

We couldn’t imagine staying at this establishment long enough to actually order and eat food, when we arrived on a Sunday evening. Screaming children running about and the general chaos and noise set our childless couple running out of there as quick as we could.
Furnishings looked OK, with plenty of tables to choose from. If we revisit at a quieter time, I’ll update the review. Otherwise, I can only leave it to the families (of which there were many) to decide and review the merits of Zest Rooty Hill.
