When The Age lists you as one of the best Fish & Chip joints in Melbourne then you must be doing something right!
The folks here at Banyule Fish & Chippery know their stuff. Delicious chips and potato cakes. No pools of grease here. The potato is good quality and the batter chewy and golden. The dim sims are delicious too.
This place is good value. The quality stands out yes, but serving sizes reflect what you pay and then some which is more then I can say for other Fish & Chip shops in the area.
It is always busy here on a Friday night so it pays to phone your order in to save on waiting time. Despite how busy they are the staff are really friendly and helpful.
Don’t be fooled though, this is no gourmet venture, just honest and good food served to you in a no-​frills environment!
