Psycho Chicken

Possibly my favourite place to pick up dinner on the way home from work.
Salads are always fresh and fit perfectly into a chicken or rib pack, usually leaving enough for lunch the next day.
Pricey but happy to pay for quality.
Beef burger was average but I don’t go here for burgers.

Ah, the comfort of ye locale shoppe.
So, I’m not sure whether the name is aspirational, or descriptive. Are they saying that their food tastes «psycho», that their prices are «psycho», or something else altogether?
Regardless, you’ll be pleased, and perhaps disappointed, that Psycho Chicken — Roseville edition is far from any extreme.
The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and inoffensively contemporary, without being antagonistically modern or heaven forbid, «daggy».
Their beef and chicken burgers are rather good across the board, though as others have stated, slightly on the pricey side. There are also coffees to be had, as well as various pastries and salads.
The best things Psycho Chicken has going for it are its convenience and consistency.
«Roseville Café», or «Roseville Burgers and Salads», perhaps?
Ok, to be fair, the one thing that drives me «psycho» is the large, muted TV they have playing, while the radio is playing as well. Watching the TV, while unable to hear the sound? Makes me want to murder a chicken.

Excellent for the chicken pita wrap and a good range of salads. A regular haunt of mine.

Psycho Chicken is the ultimate stop off for food on-​the-​go. Drop by for their excellent tasting Original Psycho Burger. The taste is so great– they may be the next Oporto! Their service is fast and their food in demand. Take away and dine in is available, as well as catering services for those who require them. The burgers do not come cheap. Heavily overpriced, yet the store attracts a heavy flow of traffic through its doors. Healthy options are available such as salads and gluten free foods. Psycho Chicken is also located in Northbridge and St Ives.
