Very polite and friendly service. I love that they have a little pre-made takeaways counter up in front for those moments where you need grab-and-go food. Restaurant has always appeared clean. That all said, the sushi just isn’t good enough. They need better quality fish. If I go there, I never order the sushi.

Reliable, clean and super friendly. It’s your typical authentic Japanese takeaway and sit down. Nothing too special or fancy, but will most defiantly fulfil any craving for fresh sushi or sashimi. The bento boxes here are moderately priced and a good combination of your typical favourite Japanese foods. Yum yum.

Great place to stroll to during your lunch hour. The staff are always waiting at the front to serve you efficiently. The sushi is on the good side of average and is reasonably priced.

A cute sailor like theme establishment, and in a coveted position near the About Life organic grocery store. Sushi before shopping and you will feel like you are in heaven; yet for me sushi just doesn’t do it for me here in Rozelle. I mean there is nothing wrong with the establishment; with the quality of the sushi or the service; it is just that I have been conditioned to eat and enjoy sushi in the city or in the eastern suburbs of Sydney somewhere; not near my previous home area. You just have to really want it; no different to an overseas holiday. As I said I cannot fault the service, the sushi is terrific and full of authentic flavours with the freshest ingredients being used; and if your lucky you might get to see the staff roll the sushi by hand using those bamboo mats; it is kind of special. I will come to this establishment again and enjoy; yet ‘sushi in the city’ has just overpowered the enjoyment received from this establishment somewhat.

Cool! A great little restaurant on Darling Street in Balmain, amongst all the other great little restaurants. The place has good sushi, both dine in and take away. I often just get take away when I can’t be bothered with dinner, and its usually not too much. The prices are competitive, but also not the cheapest. You can usually get 2 containers of sushi for less than $ 10, but that often doesn’t do the job for me. But then again, I eat a lot. I would advise this place as some of the best sushi around the area, for taste and price. Definately check it out, but keep in mind — it’s not a big classy restaurant, just a small, perhaps humble place in the shadow of the category of «classy restaurants», of which Sydney has many. The staff are friendly enough, and the place is comfortable to eat in. And get a froen coke at 7⁄11 accross the road. Nice.
