Awesome food. Wow and wow. Excellently priced. Ordered the vegetarian. Fresh food. Buns lightly toasted. Will be back.

Love this place. Huge range of(huge!) burgers, haven’t had a bad one yet. I do tend to also judge a place by their chips, and they do them really well. Can get pretty busy so sometimes there’s a bit of a wait but you can pre-order over the phone and pick up when ready instead of waiting around. Staff are nice enough, but a little«busy» so don’t really add much to the 5 star rating which is earned almost entirely by the food.

Great burgers and chips, lots to choose from, fast friendly service. Is a favourite dinner choice for my 7 year old!

My five star review is based on the chicken burgers, which are delicious, and the CHIPSOHGODTHECHIPS. And the soul mayo. I haven’t had one of the other burgers. All the above mentioned menu items are delicious and I haven’t come across a mayo I like better than the soul mayo, anywhere. And that’s saying something — I know my mayo and condiments!

Picky eaters, eat your heart out. I am one picky eater and I loved this place. I had a Sunshine Burger, and as a connoisseur of veggie patties, I can happily say this was one of the best. What I particularly loved was the range of extras available to customise your burger — Brie included! Loved the chilled vibe and the trendy décor(also the loo doors saying She Burger and He Burger). The one problem I had — which isn’t exclusive to BGS — is that it was incredibly difficult to eat with your hands. Call me old fashioned, but using a knife and fork is cheating. I gave in and used cutlery, my partner battled through and ended up wearing half of it. But when it’s that delicious you don’t really mind!

Great burgers but just had to wait forever. A little expensive for take away but for gourmet burgers I suppose good food takes time to prepare. Quiet busy so defiantly a popular spot. Would recommend Pre-ordering or ringing before hand if in a hurry.

My Lord of the Rings burger was great and the salmon burger was even better! Wide selection and the food was quite good. I was also desperately in need of caffeine so I ordered a coffee which was surprisingly good, too!

More of a 2.5 but not up to a three! Nothing special here… out of all the burgers our group tried they really lacked flavor. When you go somewhere like Grilled for instance you can really taste the relish and splices but here the burgers were just bland. Also Really didn’t like how the chips came out first and I’m talking more than 10 min before burgers so you end up(not for lack of trying not to) eating them all before the burger even arrives. Add onto that some not too friendly staff on the counter when your ordering for the first time and it just puts an overall damper on the meal. Sorry guys but wouldn’t come back here again even for a freebie!

Great burgers, great variety, good fresh ingredients. Can take a little time to get your order when they are busy, but it is worth it for the fresh burgers. Try their chips with a huge choice of sauces to have with them

Love the Mind, Body & Soul Vegie burger. It would be one of the best vegie burgers I’ve ever had. Huge servings. Great yourself to a burger and some chips with aioli dipping sauce. Yum! Can seem a little expensive but I think it is totally worth it. If you’re getting takeaway I recommend phoning in your order so you don’t have to wait around for 15 minutes.

Great quality burgers. Ate here twice on a business trip. Gluten-free options and ordering without a bun is normal here making it a perfect stop for real food advocates(gluten-free, primal, paleo and all that).

Hobart doesn’t need Grill’d… we’ve got Burger Got Soul. The burger list is overwhelmingly awesome, and I refuse to believe that anyone would have trouble finding a burger to meet their needs. The menu is on par with burger joints on the mainland in terms of price, and BGS is keen to draw attention to the freshness of their ingredients, from their salads through to their house-made buns. Eat in store or take away. My favourite thing about take away at BGS is that they welcome phone orders, so instead of having to hang around Sandy Bay for fifteen minutes, you can just roll up, collect your order and take off. Perfect. Plus there’s Gillespies Ginger Beer(my happy place) in the fridge. If you’re dining in(or waiting for takeaway) there’s also free wi-fi for customers, which is always a winner in my books.

When we first arrived in Tasmania, we wanted some good burgers. I don’t know how we made it here. Recommendation? Twitter? The look of the sign? All I know is that when we stumbled through their doors it was like we’d made it to some kind of magical burger wonderland. An amazing range on offer, all with good quality ingredients. When we first ordered a burger, we decided to go halvsies, but didn’t tell that to the lady at the counter. She looked up at us and said«Do you want me to cut it in half so you can share?» and I almost hugged her. A burger chain that doesn’t get pissed off at you for sharing! Woohoo! The burgers are humongous, and I don’t think we’ve ever eaten a burger each when we’ve been. One burger between us + chips + a drink — makes the cost per burger more than reasonable. Our favourite is the Tassie Tempter. Yum. They also have dessert’ish options(brownies, cupcakes), but we’ve never had room to try them. If you only get to have one type of burger in Hobart, make it a Burger Got Soul burger.

Huge burgers, great chips, a bit on the expensive side but definitely worth it.
