Cooked & Co

I was never good at geography at school. I have a terrible sense of direction. But today this actually paid off (I took a left instead of a right) and BOOM! Here we are in Napoleon Street, San Souchi getting take away breakie from Cooked & Co.
This place makes me want to sing…“Food, glorious food!!” It’s small but they have crammed every inch of the place with delicious home made treats like mouth watering chorizo sausage rolls and coconut & white chocolate cake.
This place isn’t very big but they had a girl serving, one barista and three cooks. What a team! The menu is pegged up on brown paper behind the counter. We went for a Bacon & Egg roll (for you guys who know your bacon it was Black Forest bacon) with salty BBQ sauce and an Egg roll with avocado, sauce and cheese.
We ordered and had the take away coffee in our hands faster than I could say «I’ll just check in on Unilocal» and were walking out of there with our rolls in hand after only two sips of coffee. The service is quick!
Hubby demolished the Bacon & Egg roll in record time after proclaiming it was the best bacon he had ever had.
For a suburban café this place is great! Check it out! Five stars for great coffee, food and service!

This little café has genuine home cooked food with high quality ingredients. Run by a husband and wife who are incredibly friendly. My wife absolutely loves the coffee here! The only downside is there is only about half a dozen tables but if you have to wait it is worth it! Thursday & Friday night that do takeaway home cooked meals. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!
